Salt Miner – a Unique Activity for Your Group

Activity called Salt Miner will meet all of your expectation. You will be guided by a real Foreman, who will share with you the knowledge, experience, interesting facts and stories, which as regular tourist you will not have the opportunity to hear. You will have a lot of different activities and challenges during this event. The Foreman will give each of you special tasks and he will pick for you your mining profession. So you will for example: measure the concentration of methane, dig and transport salt, cut woods. Sounds exciting right? You will have all equipment, professional clothes and helmets.

Few Words about Wieliczka Salt Mine

This activity is organised in special, beautiful and old Polish mine – Wieliczka Salt Mine. This is the most known salt mine in Poland. It is one of Polish Historic Monuments, also registered on the UNESCO list in 1978. 

Can you imagine that this mine was opened in the 13th century? And mine produced table salt continuously until 1996!

You can visit this unique place during your trip to Krakow as Wieliczka is located only 20 minutes drive from Krakow. We will pick you up from your hotel and take you there, you will have English speaking assistant, so you don’t have to worry about anything.
